CoderDojo Palm Beach and Hello Labs are proud to announce our next CoderDojo sessions where we will be teaming up again with our partner at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium! We are very excited to be back at the Science Center for our Winter sessions! The Science Center Team will be hosting our Dojo in their new Tech Lab! Please be sure to check out their events as well as they have a variety of programs that are fun and educational!

If you have, or know of, any young people in the Palm Beach County area, please share this invite with them to join us!

This is an exciting opportunity for kids to be exposed/learn further how to code and the world of technology.

CoderDojo is a global movement of free, volunteer-led, community based programming clubs for young people. At a Dojo, young people (called Ninjas), between 7 and 17, learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and explore technology in an informal and creative environment. In addition to learning to code, attendees meet like minded people and are exposed to the possibilities of technology.

Within the CoderDojo Movement there is a focus on community, peer learning, youth mentoring and self led learning, with an emphasis on showing how coding is a force for change in the world!

Parents will need to stay with their children while our group of Mentors, Hello Labs Team Members and other tech community volunteers, will lead the kids in individualized learning. If you have a laptop, please feel free to bring it. If not, the Science Center is generously providing us with loaners as well.

Any questions feel free to reach out to us via Facebook messages.

We look forward to seeing you!
